Some might say that the quality of my edits had reduced with this video. And perhaps they are right, because I had realized while the edit initself and fast cuts are fun to look at, do they lack purpose. As an editor I have the power to create or highlight a narrative. The narrative is the purpose and there is hope that it impacts the audience. This marks a shift in my overall approach to creative projects.
